Hey guys! I’ve not blogged here for a while, so I just wanted to list what places I’m going to be at this year.

  • MCM Expo May in London - 24th to 26th May
  • Anime Expo in Los Angeles, CA - 4th to 7th July
  • ConBravo! in Hamilton, ON - 26th to 28th July
  • Atomic Lollipop in Toronto, ON - 2nd to 4th August
  • Otakon in Baltimore, MD - 9th to 11th August

Some pretty big plans! I may also decide to come along to MCM Expo on October too, but it depends on my financial situation.

I have now arrived back from MCM October down in London! The entire weekend was fantastic, although I only got to snap photographs on the Friday and Saturday, as I was doing a rather large cosplay for Sunday.

You can click on the photograph on the right to see them, which also includes a link to my Flickr account so you can grab the larger originals if you wish to use them!

I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend much like I did, the amount of quality cosplays this year were great. I’m looking forward to HyperJapan next!

14/10/2012 - New Photographs Added!

Phew! I thought I could rest a while, but then I noticed PlayExpo crept up behind me! I went along and snapped a small number of cosplayers, there weren’t really many there to be honest, it was mostly casual clothed gamers looking out at the new releases and such, most of which are awesome!

I had a shot at Metal Gear Rising, Rayman Legends and Ni no Kuni, all of which are quite fun to play in their own respects. I also had a showdown with Chie as I was cosplaying as Yosuke and lost quite badly, and now I owe her steak. Oh well.

MCM October is coming up, and I’m getting my stuff ready for it! While I’ll be cosplaying, I’ll also be going round snapping everyone I can see, so be sure to check back after the 28th and you might see yourself up here!

I’ll also be bringing along my Smoothshot Steadicam to use on Saturday and make a small montage video of cosplayers, so if you see me going around, I might video you!

Now that I have returned from Amecon, I have uploaded a whole load of photographs onto the site! I managed to take a staggering number of 717 photographs over the course of the three days I was there, and I’ve picked out the best of them to show to you guys! I hope you enjoy the gallery.

Unfortunately, during the last day my room was robbed, and I lost a number of expensive items, including my iPad, but I wasn’t going to let it spoil the awesome, hella-fun party packed weekend I had.

Overall it was a great convention, got to see lots of awesome cosplays and it gave me a chance to give my new camera a try, especially using my flash indoors. It was a fantastic success!

Today is the launch of my new site, NaxSnaps! It will feature cosplay photos and videos from conventions, expos and events that I visit, so don’t forget to check back often!
